The term Arab refers to
an ethnic and/or language group within a geographical area comprised of
over 20 countries. There are Christian, Muslim and Jewish roots in this
region. How do we
define Arabs and how can one understand them through their cultural output
instead of what is seen on TV?
This presentation hopes
to educate by sharing the culture, art and language of
Arabia. Presenter Karim
Nagi-Mohammed is an educator and musician specializing in traditional
Arabic music.
The
Barry community is invited to this cultural presentation next
week.
