Scientific Method: This is a procedure used by scientists who want to test a given assumption. In most cases an educated guess starts the process with the scientist’s hope of it becoming a theory. As I stated before, the first step is a hypothesis. The scientist gives an educated guess based on what he/she thinks will happen. Next there’s experimentation. Tests are run to find info on the given subject. Then comes the collection of data. After tests have been run, the numbers are recorded for later processing. Results are next. Data is analyzed to give the true result of the tests and their meanings. Finally a conclusion is drawn to tell whether or not your hypothesis was correct or incorrect and how. The conclusion could also tell what else is needed to be done if yours wasn’t satisfactory. Nathaniel Houston II
