My Objective For BIO 475 Seminar At the end of this semester of Seminar, I plan to enhance and continue on the road of mastering both my analytical and critical thinking skills. These crafts will not only be enhanced by reading, but by other challenges. These challenges will include rewrites of papers and practicing both my interpreting and discussion skills concerning scientific articles. With these first objectives completed, my understanding of scientific articles will be more defined and easier to comprehend. When all of these tasks are completed, then I will be able to write Scientific Reviews in a professional manner suitable for scientific publications. Through my search for finding an exact meaning for anticipatory set and cognitive domain, I decided on taking all of these words and analyzing each of them. On Dictionary.com, anticipatory means, to look forward too and set means a specified position. Cognitive means having a basis in empirical factual knowledge and domain means a territory over which rule or control is exercised. When I placed all of these definitions together, this is what i decided the pharisees were telling Jesus: Where was the information Jesus spoke of written down and what proof did Jesus have to confirm that what he was saying was true. Jesus wept because the pharisees should have known that Jesus would not have lied to them and that he only spoke of the truth.
