Upon doing some research I have found that there are many explanations of the scientific method and that every one has their own way of stating it. However to me the scientific method is a series of steps that helps to uncover phenomena’s in nature. The first step is to observe some condition, which you would like to further explore. Next the scientist would have to come up with a testable hypothesis which is in accordance with what you observed. The scientist would then begin to make several predictions, after of course test those predictions by performing several experiments. Lastly the you would then repeat these steps until there are no inconsistencies. After all these steps are performed the hypothesis may become a theory, a theory must be tested over and over again to be sure that it is correct. While looking up in the Webster's Medical esk Dictionary i found te simplest explenation of he scientific method. It states that it is th principles and procedures for the systematic pursuit of knowledge involving the recognition and formulation of a problem According to Jose Wudka of SCLINKS from NSTA “The scientific method is the best way yet discovered for winnowing the truth from lies and delusion.” http://phyun5.ucr.edu/ Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary, Merriam Webster
