Anticipatory Set is a brief activity or event that effectively engages students’ attention and focuses their thoughts on the learning objective. This can be done by asking questions, conducting demonstrates reasoning, using humor, using visualization, reading a poem, etc. These way students are more Involved, Stimulated, and Focused. Cognitive Domain involves the acquisition and processing of knowledge. These way the student uses different steps such as: Knowing (recognizing the knowledge); Comprehending (demonstration of understanding); Applying (using the knowledge); Analyzing (break down of the knowledge); Synthesizing (producing something original from the knowledge learned); and Evaluating (form judgment). As I mentioned before my goal for this class is to study, read, and practice in order to better understand scientific journals and magazines. Put emphasis upon the scientific method, scientific observation, and analytical thinking to earn a grade that I could be proud of and upon the completion of this course I want to be able to fully understand, read, write, and present scientifically. Now that I have learned something new, I will also use the concepts of cognitive domain and anticipatory set to improve my myself as a person now and in the future, that way Jesus is not going to Wept and he will be Proud and with a smile on his face.
